This large-scale robinia wood playground was designed as the central gathering space for a community renewing its public environment. The goal was to create more than just a playground—it was envisioned as a vibrant symbol of growth, connection, and daily life.
Psagot Playgrounds led the planning and execution of the project, designing a visually striking and highly functional play environment that brings families together while offering diverse play opportunities for children of different ages.
At the heart of the playground stands an iconic multi-level flagship structure built from natural robinia wood. The system features tall towers connected by rope bridges, elevated paths, and perimeter climbing nets that create an exciting vertical adventure.
Enclosed high slides integrated into the towers provide thrilling descents, while circular rope climbing systems add movement and challenge. The structure creates a strong visual identity within the park while supporting a wide range of physical play experiences.
Robinia wood was chosen as the primary material for its exceptional durability, structural strength, and warm natural appearance. The material blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape while ensuring long-term performance in outdoor environments.
The design emphasizes continuous movement between levels, with climbing routes that allow gradual progression. Safety surfacing and synthetic turf define active play zones and transition areas, while wide shading elements ensure comfort throughout the playground.
